New Haven, Conn. - Three tenors and a soprano help usher in the Christmas season by bringing their seventh U.S. tour to Southern Connecticut State University.  On Sunday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m., the Three Irish Tenors will perform their popular holiday program, "Christmas from Dublin," at SCSU's Lyman Center.

Together with their musical director, David Wray, the three tenors have created programs of their favorite songs and arias, not only from Ireland but also from a truly international repertoire. "Christmas from Dublin" features the tenors' extensive repertoire of Irish Christmas folk standards, Irish ballads, pop classics, Italian opera arias and holiday favorites.

The Three Irish Tenors are three of Ireland's leading tenors: Ciaran Nagle from "Riverdance the Show," P.J. Hurley -- Ireland's representative at the 2006 Belvedere International Singing Competition -- and Kenneth O'Regan, from "Riverdance The Show." Joining the Three Irish Tenors will be special guest soprano Jacqueline Whelan.

Since their first performance, this talented and exciting trio has performed to delighted, packed houses throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States. The journey for this trio is proving to be a great success and joy as these three golden-voiced tenors continue to captivate audiences with their infectious Irish charm.
