Jessie Smith

Jesse Smith is one of the greatest fiddle virtuosos of his, or any, generation.
Raised in Baltimore, he moved to Galway at the age of 20, becoming the driving
fiddle force behind Danu, Ireland's finest young band.

After three years with the group he left to pursue a solo career,
and recently released his first solo CD to extraordinary acclaim
on both sides of the Atlantic, including the Irish Echo's prestigious
“Top Ten” award for 2002.
