The Fairfield Gaelic Pipe Band, sponsored by the Gaelic American Club of Fairfield, Connecticut, was organized in 1997.

The band appears annually at the Fairfield Irish Festival and the Westport Italian Festival; the St. Patrick’s day parades in Bridgeport, New Haven, Stamford, Milford and Greenwich Connecticut; the Fairfield and Trumbull Memorial Day Parades; The Southport Blessing of the Fleet: lobster festivals, municipal celebrations, commemorations and various community service programs.

In 2001 and 2002, the band was invited to march with the Ancient Order of Hibernians in the New York City St. Patrick’s Day parade, and in 2007, we’ll parade in Boston .We also helped to set a record on April 6, 2002 in New York City’s Tartan Day Parade, and again in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2005, by marching with 10,000 pipers and drummer from around the world to raise money for cancer research.
